Australian Dream – Pollyglot Theatre

Proof of concept for for my doorbell design for Polyglot Theatre, for The Australian Dream project, to be presented by the Melbourne Recital Centre.

The design is a modification of the cheapest wireless doorbell at Bunnings and combines it with a greating card circuit.  The doorbell sounds can be uploaded via USB and is capable of cycling through multiple sounds.

Thanks to Danny Cisco for help.

The video is a little bit dodgy but is indeed a ‘proof of concept’.

apocapella #1

Thus begins the apocapella series, which sets out to document my interest in voice, popular form and sampler.
The set is a live recording made while rehearsing for Racket 19 in Feb 2012.

last night at Make it Up Club

Last night Dale chapman and i played our first gig together at the Make it Up Clup, organised as part of the Handmade Music Festival. Dale’s doing a workshop this Saturday at the newly opened Westspace if you’re interested in such hand made things, he certainly has a lot of them.

And, someone was there to catch the magic. Nice shot of my back!
